About Us/Staff
Jaime Faurot is a longtime peer advocate working in the Bay Area with individuals, groups, and government agencies to ensure diversity and inclusion of all peers in the mental health system of care and to amplify the peer voice.
Both Jaime and Andrea met as ACCESS Ambassadors under the CalVoices ACCESS California program more than four years ago. Jaime's motto, "to be the difference I want to see in the world," is reflected in her traits of being open, empathetic, self-driven and approachable. Her ambition is to try to establish more connections to encourage conversationsor collaborations for building a Better Community of Tomorrow.
She is a determined and focused BIPOC Peer and Community Advocate, volunteering with local counties, for the marginalized, underserved, and unserved communities, as a representative and as part of the communities she belongs to.
